Neptūnas Klaipėda has announced the retention of Martynas Pacevičius, who was named the breakthrough player of the year in the LKL and BasketNews polls. The Klaipėda team, preparing for the European Cup and LKL battles, signed a new one-year contract with the 27-year-old Kaunas native. Pacevičius stated that he decided to stay with the team due to his family's love for Klaipėda and the growing organization that provides him with opportunities to develop. He also emphasized the wonderful fan community, which he believes is growing every season. Club director Martynas Mažeika mentioned that Pacevičius is an excellent team member who respects the organization. Last season, he demonstrated good energy and consistently raised his game level. In his second season in the port city, Martynas Pacevičius improved his statistics: from 8.9 points to 11.5 points, rebounds from 4.7 to 8, and efficiency points from 11.3 to 16.8. Currently, Neptūnas has eight players, and the LKL summer market has already begun.
